Single photon source is an important part of quantum communication and quantum computing. In practical applications, we need high-quality, high repetition rate photon source to meet the requirements of communication and computing. The preparation of heralded single photon source by parametric-down-conversion of nonlinear crystal is the main preparation method.
Our experiment is to use special refractive index characteristics and high second order nonlinear coefficient of the PPLN crystal in the communication band to achieve high efficiency DWDM multi-channel heralded single photon source. Our heralded single photon source can produce about 35 single photon sources simultaneously, and each channel's single photon has the same g^(2)(0) and repetition frequency. By adjusting the pump light power can choose the best g^(2)(0)and brightness balance to meet the actual needs. Coupled with the all-fiber structure, make our multi-channel heralded single photon source an important part of building a quantum network.
