Doctor Yanqi Qiao and doctor Haigang Liu attended the Conference on Lasers and Electro-Optics (CLEO 2017), which was held 14-19 May 2017 in San Jose, California at the San Jose Convention Center by CLEO Technical Program Committee. CLEO continues to be the world’s premier international forum for scientific and technical optics, uniting the field basic research to industry applications. Within the scope of a single conference, CLEO provides a forum where attendees can explore new scientific ideas, engineering concepts, and emerging applications in fields such as biophotonics, optical communications, and novel light sources. CLEO offers more than 1000 oral presentations, 194 invited talks by some of the most respected researchers in our international community, and 23 tutorials. This year’s poster sessions include an outstanding list of more than 400 posters. Finally, CLEO offers a comprehensive short course program featuring 18 courses.

In CLEO, doctor Yanqi Qiao gave an oral presentation titled” Second-harmonic focusing by a nonlinear turbid medium via feedback-based wavefront shaping” and doctor Haigang Liu gave a poster presentation titled” Nonlinear Raman Nath second harmonic generation with structured fundamental wave”.
